Getting started
Set up an Icletns business account, install the booking form, test the workflow, and begin accepting bookings.
Use this guide to prepare a business account and add online booking to an existing website. For platform terminology and the complete booking flow, see the Introduction.
Register an Icletns account using accurate business and contact information. Businesses are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for all activities performed through authorised accounts.
Access to certain features may require an active subscription. Subscription billing is handled through third-party payment providers.
Subscription, security, and business obligations are described in the Partner Terms of Service.
Complete the business configuration before installing the booking form.
Add the business name, contact details, location, time zone, and other information shown to customers. Review all public information for accuracy.
Create each bookable service and configure its name, description, duration, price where applicable, assigned staff members, and booking restrictions.
Add staff members who perform services. Assign the appropriate services and permissions to each person.
Configure regular working hours, staff availability, breaks, holidays, and other unavailable periods. Accurate availability prevents customers from being offered unsuitable appointment times.
Review confirmation rules, notice periods, cancellation settings, customer information requirements, and notifications. Appointment-payment arrangements, refunds, deposits, chargebacks, and payment disputes are managed directly between the Business, its Customers, and any payment providers selected by the Business. Icletns does not process appointment payments or hold Customer funds.
Open the integration settings for the business account and obtain the integration credentials, identifiers, and installation instructions applicable to the account. Make the booking form available through the supported integration selected by the Business.
See Form Initialization for the integration sequence, illustrative JavaScript patterns, and security and performance considerations. Do not use its placeholder examples as production code.
Test the integration before making it available to customers:
Remove or clearly identify test appointments after verification.
Publish the website integration or hosted booking page after testing is complete. Confirm that the booking form is reachable from the Business's website, customer communications, or other intended booking channels.
Monitor the first bookings in the administration dashboard and verify that staff schedules, notifications, and customer-facing policies behave as configured. Keep service information and availability current.
Businesses are responsible for maintaining accurate service information, pricing, availability, cancellation policies, customer communications, and compliance with laws and regulations applicable to their services.
